The Swanage Jazz Club in partnership with the Isle of Purbeck Golf Club are pleased to present Sarah Bolter & ‘Sax In The City’ in aid of Lewis-Manning Hospice Care an independent local Dorset charity providing extraordinary care to people and their loved ones facing a life-limiting illness.

‘Sarah Bolter & Sax in the City’ quintet, are a group of musicians from the south led by Sarah Bolter on saxes/clarinet/ flute and vocals. These musicians are bound together by their love of melodic, rhythmic jazz/funk/blues and love pushing the boundaries of the idioms by including more contemporary numbers but giving them a new twist.

This promises to be a special night raising funds for a worthwhile cause at the Isle of Purbeck Golf Club.

Lewis-Manning Hospice Care is an independent local Dorset charity providing extraordinary care to people and their loved ones facing a life-limiting illness. They support over one thousand patients and families every year in their homes, virtually, and at their hubs across Swanage, Wareham, Poole, Wimborne, Christchurch and Bournemouth.

Offering a range of free hospice care services supporting local people to:

Live well through their illness

Alleviate the huge pressures on families and carers as well as NHS services, reducing ambulance call outs, hospital admissions and GP appointments

Increase physical and social well-being

Reduce isolation and loneliness

They only receive 12% funding from the NHS. Therefore, every year, they need your help to raise money to continue providing our important services in your community for patients and their families.
